Beyond 23 Things
I have done a few things beyond 23 but didn't post about it. I went to Zamar created a link and converted a YouTube video to save my hard drive. I found it fairly easy and had no problems. The converted video went to my email quickly. Wish I had known about it sooner.

Library 2.0
I've finished all 23 things. It has been quite an experience learning things I didn't know it existed on the Internet. I now use bloglines every day for the news instead of looking at different news sites. Widgets are great. I think I had the most fun with the widgets deciding the ones I wanted on my blog. I will definitely use ebooks since I've already downloaded one book from our website. Some of the videos are so cute with the kids and animals. Library Thing will help me to remember the books I've read. I will go on to the other things because I want to learn more about the videos. I've created a few but can't get them to show up on my blog.

NetLibrary
Thing 22 has been a challenge. It took me several attempts to figure out how to create an account. I went through the PLYMC link. When I clicked on NetLibrary the top of my screen said to ask your library how to create an account. I clicked on enter under Libraries and watched the demo and there was no tab on the top of the page to Create an Account. There is a place to create an account under Order. You can search without an account to see what is in the library. I think I'll save creating an account for another day. I downloaded an ebook from PLYMC's website. It was much more user friendly.
Video
I created a video from pictures and added music to it to add to my blog. The video works when I preview it on the posting window but no video is in my blog. Just that box with an X in it. Maybe I'll figure out what is wrong. The first time I forgot to save the video to mpeg. It took a long time to upload. Maybe it's the size of the file.
Podcasts
I listened to podcasts on Yahoo Podcasts since I already had Yahoo Music Jukebox. It was very easy for me to download and add podcasts to Yahoo Music Jukebox. A person could listen for hours. There are a wide variety of topics also.

YouTube and other videos
There are just too many videos out there. I looked at videos for hours. I finally found one I liked on Google videos. Wait until Jazzlady finds out there is a video on meerkats.
Social Music
For thing 19 I explored last.fm. Last.fm is a social music website. I signed up but didn't download the software yet or create any playlist.

ZOHO Writer
I'm in Zoho Writer and learned to add an emotional icon. I can see how the online docs could be of use to people that travel. All these things on the internet I didn't know about until Library 2.0. I checked out the Template Library and added a recipe card template to my templates. Something I may find useful.
Docs and Spreadsheets Online
Created a short doc in Google Docs and Spreadsheets to send to my blog. Also created a doc in Zoho Writer. I found both sites easy to work with and no problems sending the docs to my blog spot.

Wiki
Now I know what a wiki is. I've often found information on Wikipedia when doing searches. I especially like the Book Lovers Wiki that the Princeton Public Library created. It could be a very useful tool for reviewing videos.

Library 2.0
I read all of the perspectives twice. The second time wasn't any more interesting than the first time. I found "Into a new world of librarianship" the most informative and easy to understand.

7 1/2 Habits of Life Long Learners
It seems I was one of the bloggers who forgot to comment on this exercise. Using the computer is one of my favorite ways to learn. Habit 3 viewing problems as a challenge is one of my better habits. At times I think of it as a curse. There are some people who probably indentify with this. Habit 7 1/2 is the hardest. Taking time to play.
Technorati
This site probably needs a lot more time to explore than I have right now. I think it could be very useful if you want to explore blogs and the technology. I entered jazzyladylove's url and found her blog. Found my blog too but didn't claim it yet. That's for a day I have nothing to do but play on the computer.

Del.icio.us
Great site for someone doing a lot of research. I did a search on genealogy and recipes sites. Interesting but I didn't create an account.

Rollyo
I went to Rollyo and did some searches. I can see how it could be a good search tool for specific searches. I added a Rollyo widget searcher to my blog but didn't sign up for an account.

Generators
Generators can be fun but for some reason I kept having a problem copying and pasting the code. I finally got this one to work on YourGen.com after several tries on other web sites. I'm up to exercise 11.

RSS Feeds
I created an account with Bloglines and added feeds to Yahoo News and CNN. I thought Topix.net was easy for finding the news feeds. Now I know what that RSS Feed Icon is in Internet Explorer. I used it to add a feed to vindy.com.

Technology - Blogs
I've heard of blogs and seen a few blogs but didn't really understand blogs. Learning 2.0 is a great way to learn about creating a blog. I'm learning about pod casts, trading cards, posting comments in blogs and so much more I haven't explored yet. The pod casts are interesting how they can be created for a business or any website. I played around with the demo on Site Pal for some time. If I don't quit playing I'll never finish 23 things.

Third Post
Peanut was a good dog retrieving balls from the Christmas tree for me. The picture was taken in December 1998 when she was a year old. Peanut died this year on June 26th from bone cancer. She was a very special dog and loved visitors. The only visitors not welcome were cats. I know Peanut is a strange name for a Rottweilor but she was the runt of the litter when she was born and I started calling her Peanut. I created this trading card in memory of Peanut.

Second Post
I explored Flickr but didn't want to open an account. I used the upload tool in Blogger.
